Figured we could use a single thread to post about all the guns and hunting that FABO does!

Let me start! Currently pushed my Savage Axis in .243 Win out to 350 yards at a 1.5" inch grouping with cheap Federal Blue Box Vital-Shok 100 gr ammo. That's pretty decent so far! Here's a picture taken while doing it:

I got to shoot one of those. Loved it! Sadly the ammo here in Canada is insanely expensive, IF you can even get a chance to find it....

my implements of destruction:

My fave: Savage 116fss 30.06 , composite stock, full stainless steel....awesome gun, could drive tacks with it at 150 yards, no problem(except sometime the SHOOTER misses.....lol

Marlin 336 lever action 30-30, nice no frills gun

Mossberg 500 12 guage, interchangeable barrels, sho and slug barrels....has anotch or two in the handle for deer

Generic 12 guage slug gun, pump action 28 inch barrel with scope. Not that accurate of a gun, but fun to shoot

Other assorted fun shooters, but by far, the Savage has the highest amount of kill and kill rate!!!

x2, I'm working on rebuilding my collection after being ripped off:banghead:, I have a henry bolt action 12 ga. slug gun and a s&w 38 revolver, was thinking about getting a 380 for conceal carry, any suggestions?

Iam old school in lots of ways. my favorite firearm is still my 1911 .45 ACP. Many years ago I shot it a LOT!!. I did my own reloading. Even have a 4 cavity mold for 185 grain semiwadcutters. It cost my about 1.5 cents a round to reload them.

The only 380 I shot was a Taurus TCP (I ain't only enough to buy a handgun myself yet). And it had a sharp recoil because it was so small and light. It was unreliable too. Took two hits on the primer often an even though it was a double action with a hammer it didn't have second strike capability. Had to recock with the slide and it was kinda a mess. But when it did shoot I could hit what I was aiming at pretty well even with no real front sight.

Although I have never shot their 380s, I would stick with brands like Kahr, Smith and Wesson, Ruger, etc.

Lots of small 9mms out there too if ya want a little more power.

My top dog is a savage 110BA in 338 Lapua with a Nightforce on top with the moar reticle-It is a DREAM to shoot,We've only had it out to 600 so far and it is simple inedible-I should post a pic--Steve

Mossberg 500 12 Ga Pump with interchangeable barrels 18.5" slugster with sights, composite stock and fore grip with interchangeable pistol grip, side mounted shell holder or Scope.
Home made Frankenstein AR 15 with Mag Tactical
lower receiver, JSE A3 Flat Top Upper with T marked Rails, 9" YHM hand guard, Polished SS M4 profile barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO W/ M4 feed ramps, YHM Phantom Flash Hider, DPMS Tactical Bolt Catch, Badger Ord Tac Latch on charge handle, Tapco T6 Collapsible stock, UTG combat Sniper Pistol grip, 2 30 Round Magpul P mags coupled, UTG 3-9x32 Mil Dot Scope, NcStar green Laser, and A-tac single point sling. I think there will be more mods soon.

I have the same gun with the Millet LRS 1/4 MOA on it , the local distance shooting club banned the 338 LM from competition as not being fair to the other shooter lol . I love my BA , I was just chatting with a shooting buddy about how cool it is to get out of the car and nail the bull at 250 first shot every time for a warm up shot , I've been out over 1000m with it once and am looking for a new long spot with a friend who was taking his AI 338 lm out to 1400m before the logging co. guys finally caught him leaving their land one day and got him written up for trespassing .

I had a Millet LRS on a Savage 10 FCP-SR in .308! Very nice scope but the rings that come with the stock are WAY to high and replacement rings for that size of scope body are expensive.

I carry a Colt pony pocket lite in .380. The thing is 12 ounces loaded, and narrow for a nice tight tuck. I will also carry a Cobra deringer in 22mag.
