Enclosed Trailer

I also have a 20 ft. I hauled a dart swinger around a few years and now a sport, yes it is a little cramped at times, but having a bigger trailer will mean taking more stuff along, and then your tow weight would increase. I could've sold my 20 twice in the last year, but decided to hang onto it. Pulls nice, and if I need to do any work on the car while I'm out I can move the car back a few feet to work on it if I need to. Mine fits the bill for me fine. I have pulled mine loaded with a 1500 and now a 2500 and the 1500 did ok, worked a little on hills and gas mileage wasn't all that good but it did the job. Besides if I need to take anything along that I can't get in the trl. I can put it in the bed of the truck. Years ago I had an open trailer and a 1500 and it was fine, nice to have an enclosed to keep the car in, plus it's like a portable garage. I have found out over the years when racing that a lot of folks have to have big trailers, campers ect. just to go to their local track once or twice a month. All show. My two cents, Good luck with your decision.
