Slot car guys?

I got my first Aurora HO set in 1964. Back then there wasn't a hobby shop around but there was a Hallmark card and gift shop near my house that sold Model Motoring stuff and I would save up my allowance and any money I made and buy new cars whenever I got a chance. Back in the 60's most of the Aurora cars were less than $5. I had quite a collection and as I got older I started buying tracks and cars at yard sales and swap meets. I eventually got enough that if I set it all up at once it would fill an average home (1000 sf) I'm 54 now and as my kids got older I used to set stuff up every now and then and let them play with it. Now my Daughters 28 and my son will be 21 next month so they didn't have any interest in any of it anymore so I stuck it on Craigslist and let it all go except for one brand new track that I reserved to put in my sons mancave. I still find myself looking at the cars every time I'm near a hobby shop. Some things are just hard to outgrow.
