I have look at MR norm and RMS has any one gone to coil over and what do you think coil over systerm or stock??? please help thanks steve

RMS is my vote. I have one, very nice.

.. or Hemi Denny who is on this site. he makes good stuff too. currently this entire site is drinking the Hemi Denny kool aid. pick your part. pay your price.

RMS and HDK both good. I like the HemiDenny due to less expensive for
at least equal quality, narrower track (a BIG plus here) and automotive
tie-rod ends instead of heim joints. HDK also has multiple configurations
available such as powertrain height options for dramatically lowered cars.

Addco is making sway bars specifically for the HDK and Schumacker is making
dedicated motor mount sets.

The HDK may also have a slight ground clearance advantage.

Such are the results of my research and queries regarding a future purchase.

Track width and extremy lowed ride height was the biggest factor for me. When you can run a 26-27in front tire and have 4inches of ground clearance under the k member and a 4in cround clearance under the unibody frame, others cant give u that period.:prayer:

I like the stock based systems and have seen them perform extremely well...

I agree. We just finished a car intended for track use and we couldn't get close to the adjustability or ideal specs that the Hotchkis systems allows. Furthermore, the geometry was less than ideal, as well as some really bad features such as reduced turning radius and low quality components (Coil overs and heims)that were worn out or shot after 800 miles of street use. After the customer was treated to a ride in a Hotchkis equipped car, he regretted Hotchkis not having it available when he began sourcing parts years ago. I would expect a lot more for a compete redesign of the front suspension. I have not had a car in the shop with the Hemi Denny stuff.

and RMS also offers all this as well. :)

Just an fyi, the "Mr norm" suspension is the control freak suspension. I read somewhere that it is literally a direct copy of the RMS alterkation, but built in tube components.

which system was it if you don't mind me asking??

Another one of these threads again......jeez! I can hear the pissing and moaning coming through the ethernet cable already!

use the search feature and you'll see a ton of threads on this subject.

it all comes down to what you want. you can get great results from stock style suspension. it will never give you the rack feel or open anywhere close to the room under the car though. coil overs you can change spring rate a lot easier with too..

as for coil over systems go. i'm an RMS fan. comes with everything to install except grease and brake fluid and is cake to install....

is he back at it again? not too long ago people weren't getting their ordered stuff and couldn't get ahold of him..

That could be. I had not heard that yet. Just knew his website was still up but that really doesn't mean anything. Hate to hear people aren't getting parts!

The biggest question, FoxMopar, is what you are looking to do. Is it to be different, auto-x, cruiser, daily driver, etc. Getting into a full coil over set up can be expensive! An HemiDenny or RMS will drastically change handling dynamics. What do you plan to do with the rear suspension.? Depending on where you are headed with this build might determine how well everyone can point you in a direction!

look to have nice handling street car .low maintenance rear leaf spring with caltrack bars HDK web site did not work thanks

You get what you pay for. Bill's front alterkation gets my vote. He is hands down the most friendly people to deal with.

HDK web site did not work thanks
HDK web site? I found that too by Googling Hemi Denny. HDK has not announced
it's "under construction" web site yet and it is not operational. The company that
is building it put the address out there about a week ago: www.hemidenny.com
It clearly states "FUTURE HOME OF HEMI DENNY.COM" at the bottom.

I'm sure that when HDK announces it (they have not mentioned it or advertised it
anywhere yet), it will work just fine.
