I'm not sure if anyone here has heard that the Sunbust show held in Graham, WA will be changing to a two day show in 2014, but now you know.

As coordinator of this outsanding show I am looking for advice and tips about how we should run and continue our show.

So far we have an outline that Saturday will be a judged show for 1980 and newer Mopars, with a show and shine for all others. Sunday will be 1979 and older judged with show and shine for all newer cars.

We are looking for help classing the new cars and forming ideas and looking for potential volunteers for Saturday. If you are intrested at all, PM me and I will give you info on where our meeting on JAN 13th will be held in Tacoma, WA.

80 and newer seems like it would be a really small field. better to move it back to 72 and older/73 and newer

Wow, a two day event! I remember the early Sunbusts in the eighties where we would register 30-50 cars and the event was held in a parking lot. Wish I lived close enough to attend again.

I think that's what they're trying to do is keep everyone happy by splitting up the show instead of alienating one segment of car owners. Personally, I think they have had too many new cars and the quantity of old cars has fallen off. If I wanted to see modern Mopars, I would stop by one of the local dealerships.

That's great Chris! A few questions:
Will we be able to leave cars over night? Security?
Any thought for a cruise or something the night in between?
Are there places to stay nearby?

I'd be glad to help and would bet that others with All Around Mopars would too. I'll send a pm and send something around to the club.

I miss guessing how long before a motor would blow running wide open. And all mopar drags and a cruise are a must.

Geez, you took the words right out of my mouth...I hate seeing the new crap in the shows...

I would say '76 and older..keep the show interesting...or go a little newer to include the aspen/voleres.. anything else..too modern..

The Brick it (motor blowing contest) was always a good event, and if we can find an engine, we may do it, but probably not this year. I am hoping for future Sat eve and possibly Fri Eve events, cruise in, burnout contest etc. But this will have to happen in a few years. We will just be too busy to take care of that this year.

I thank you guys for the words of advice, this is exactly what we are looking for. As a guy who has an A body, B body, C body, Dakota R/T a new Challenger, a Diesel and a Jeep I understand the differences. There are many modern Mopar guys who just want to look at modern Mopars and it has seemed to put a rift in the Mopar world trying to tie these two similar but very different groups together. With this show we are hoping to give the newer cars a day on their own, and keep the classics as they are, and grow the Mopar hobby even more.

There will be camping on site, and the campground is locked at night (yes you will be trapped)
We are looking at the possibility of a loose informal cruise in on Saturday night
We have a host hotel that has a large parking lot with cameras on the site.
