Anyone know anything about these supposedly factory manifolds? Seller thinks they have never been installed and are from 60-62 slants. I'm going to buy them, but just wondered if anyone recognized them.

Just figured out that they are the Hyperpak intake and exhaust manifolds. And, just bought them relatively cheap.

Wonder if they will be any good for my trubo build of my 170 motor?

Jezuz, buy them and flip them! Long tube is no good for turbo setup. Headers are not needed in a turbo build. Dont let Rob see these! :)
 
Wayno, i got a carb hat for your turbo build if you are looking for one.
 
Heck I'll give ya $200 for them right now even if they're missing the brackets and linkage.
 
Super score, if your not pulling our legs.
The long sweeping one goes on the front, short one to clear a direct drive starter.
Go back and try to find the carb, air cleaner, spacers and the linkage!

I am going turbo (long rod motor)...Still got that 225 motor from Wimberly less head.PM me if interested.
 
Don't use any of that on your turbo build. Those are the factory hyper pack manifolds. They are practically worth their weight in gold, if they are unmolested, especially the exhaust manifolds/headers. I sure hope you are not pulling our legs.

Not pulling any legs at all guys. The seller tells me that they are virgins, NEVER installed on a motor. I bought them, now just got to wait for them to arrive. And no, I won't be using them on my turbo build. Think I'll build another nasty little 170 to install them on. Pishta, I sent you a message.
 
Wasn't Doug Dutra looking for a pair of the exhaust manifolds to make Repro's from?
 
Ive never seen hyperpack exhaust manifolds before. Seen the intake many times.

Go to slantsix.org and pm doctor dodge and ask him if he's been looking for a set of these.
