Why did I buy this ?????? picture added

I would think fixing the TBI system would be cheaper than a new carb and all the headache and loss of mileage that goes along with it.

Nice looking van.

I love B vans. I bought a 74 B300 panel van new and many years later a low mileage 75 B300 panel maxivan. B300s make excellent tow vehicles with large brakes and heavy duty suspensions. In 92 I did a Cummins TurboDiesel with automatic overdrive swap into the 75 which took it to a 'nother level of capability.

B vans only downside is the serious rustout they will develop, that's what sent my 74 to it's grave in 86.

That one you picked up looks really clean, a rare find.

Someone had put insulation - paneling -carpet on the floor - walls and ceiling probably when it was pretty new I just took most of it out and everything is like new no dents in the floor paint good etc and it's not cut anywhere

These may get you excited about what to do with your van dodge71demon.

I'd take it too!! I used to love seeing those custom vans in the 70's. Brings back lots of memories; psychedelic paint jobs, wide slots, side pipes, fender flares, shag carpet, CB radios, ect..

Nice looking van.

Talked to Holley the fuel pump is $185 and they said the injectors are probably bad at $500 for a set of new ones so it really doesn't add up for me anyway

You bought it because you wanted it more than you wanted other things you could have spent the money on at the time!

OK here's the story as it was told to me about the van and having found a paper trail in the van I have no reason not to believe it isn't true. Bought new in West Virginia by an engineer that raced MG's came with a 360 and dealer installed A/C. He used it to pull his race car van has a big hitch on it with an electric brake control and air shocks at some point he put in the 383 you can tell he knew what he was doing (reused the A/C just adapted for big block) correct big bock radiator and fan shroud he then moved to California then to Kansas he passed away at some point and someone in the family got it and took it to South Dakota last plated on 2009 so I presume had trouble with the TBI and the sold it to the person I bought it from. Oh and it came with a 360 with 904 tranny in the back (1983) also had a 340 unsilenced air cleaner on it I presume to clear the engine cover

PARTS, PARTS, & more PARTS:cheers:

YOU'RE CORRECT

383 motor - 727 trans - possible 8 3/4 rear + other stuff for my 69 Valiant project but this thing is growing on me so when I'm done with the Valiant I'll put the 360 in it and see what happens

My old van....Wheelies at will, 440 through custom V drive, drove all over, completely street legal, and was in 20 Mags including Hot Rod twice

Yea I took a little hiatus but I'm back now. lol

I missed this place. Been working on my 06 Charger R/T and now I'm getting back into my Dart.

P.S. When I owned my Van shop in Nor Cal during the 70-80's I owned no less then 30 Dodge vans. They seemed to find me.They are awesome, go for it.Everything interchanges on them.
My last one I sold last year.
