I'm looking for a 68-76 dart or valiant four door. I prefer something in good shape that won't cost a bundle to fix or a bundle to buy. I am thinking of starting a family next year and would love to have the extra doors for what's to come. Any leads?

Have a 68 Valiant four door.
is solid and has not been cut into. If you are willing to come out to las Cruces you can have the entire tub, with doors a hood and rear axle under neath for $400. S/6 K Frame is loose in trunk. May? have title.

Man I wish I had a way to get it from Las Cruces to Tulsa Area. Would be a perfect tub

check out phoenix cl-- there are 2 different 4 door darts- i do not know your price range -- one of them looks great & appears ready for a drive to a new home--

I'll be looking for one of these when my 12 year old gets closer to driving age, Lawrence

I mentioned the earlier post because I'm mulling over selling my 1969 dart. I bought it in 2006 from an estate in Phoenix, az at a time when I thought I wanted a driver, as I also have a 69'340 GTS. When I got it a newspaper dated 10 june 1971 was in the trunk! It is a rust free original, with an older repaint. The car had been in a storage garage since the late 70's. I trailered it home, and over three years of craziness I went through the whole car.I rebuilt the engine, transmission, brakes, shocks, suspension, Installed new tires, and replaced the Interior, excluding carpet. I Installed a new exhaust system from Accurate exhaust, and I repainted the dash The B5 blue, and installed another dash pad. I also rewired the whole car using a nice donor, as the harnesses had rotted in the desert heat.I flushed the original radiator, and Installed a new starter, as well as repainted under the hood prior to Installing the engine. The Interior came from an actual 17,000 mile dart back east, that had been cut up to fix another car. This car is basically a new 69 dart. WW1 white with blue Interior. It has the 273 V8, A numbers matching engine and transmission, with rare factory A/C, and power steering. I'm up to 200 miles since I finished it. However, I don't need it any more. Do I sell it? Or keep it around for posterity? I know my labor is toast, but everything else still comes out to quite a bit. A bit of a dilemma. it is a beautiful car, and probably one of one. Who else is crazy enough to put so much time into a four door? I really love the 69 models, so it was a labor of love. any suggestions?

That sounds like a beautiful car! It's probably out of my price range for sure. If nothing else I'd love to see pictures of it. I have a 70 Duster 340 project and a 71 Duster 340 i just finished a trans rebuild and rear upgrade in. I kinda like those Valiants 😬 but I do like the looks of me a Dart! I've had a few hits on my post and am waiting on pictures from cudahead2 on a 69' Valiant. Id. Also be interested in the C bodies as well.

I have a '70 Valiant here in south central MO. When I owned it the first time it I bought it from an elderly lady in OK. It had 41k on it and was absolutely rust free but she had scraped it here and there getting it in and out of the garage. Had a nice interior in it and the /6 ran great. It was all original paint except for one fender. I put a new radiator in it and sold it to a local guy who put another 30k on it before the 3 speed trans got noisy.

He started to change it to an auto but was unable to finish the job. I bought it back, finished the trans install with all factory parts, steering column, wiring harness so the backup lights and neutral safety switch would work, etc.

The guy I sold it to had some big dogs he hauled around and they tore the interior up. Seats, headliner, package shelf, and floor mat are either gone or ruined. I was asking $1350 for it but I just spent another $300 for some nice seats to go in it, so I need $1650 now.

Car runs great, should be checked over before driving it home but it was driven daily until the guy started changing the trans.

If you are interested pm your email address and I can send some pics.

The pic below is from the time I first owned the car and detailed the engine compartment. 30k later it still looks good but the engine could use some touch up again. Note how clean the fender wells and firewall are.
Thanks,
Dallas

I have a line on a 74 or so Valiant 4 door 318 with a bad trans. The body is in good shape. It would make a good runner for not to much work.

Send me a private message if interested.
