Biuld worth-stock/clone vs protouring $$

hey he sold his other car and made a profit! i say lets see if we can rub his head for luck!! really,in the currect old car market and economy, i give kudos to anyone that put $ in a car and sell at profit! i say finding a buyer is having the right car and the right buyer! and finding someone with either money or having it and being willing to spend it!! i beleive after fooling with these old cars since mid 80's, the car market will keep running a cycle as long as there is a market, right now most mopar guys are in 40-55 age group,( thats good income wise) there is a larger repo market than ever ( if ya can afford the prices!), there continues to be the big events to keep interest up ( except here in the sticks of ks!?), the economy has been in the pits since 07, its getting better and i think pretty soon people will guit worrying about losing their job, get tired of not having their toys, and you will see cars start to sell again and prices begin to edge upward again.!???
personally i'm glad cars are cheap. i can afford to drag home another project. hopefully i can get down to the 2 cars i want to keep, sell off a couple of really good drivers for what i think will be a plenty fair price to the guy that buys them, but don't expect them to sell quickly
gettin back to his question, i say: first and foremost make it a driver, take good pics before and after any work, repair all rust, leave finish work to buyer, again good pics before, sounds like he can use his head when huntin and buyin parts, start by puttin NO more in the project than it could be parted out for, if ya gotta rely on selling locally, know what a given car will bring . like the other guy said, if ya want to sell it,best to build to suit your market, not what you like. i admire his gumpshun!!!
