That cam I listed ran a 15.14 with a half tuned carb on a cold Novemeber day at Atco, N.J. In a stock '79 - 318 with headers into a Jegs exhaust, LD4B, Carter 625, with a dead stock 904 & a sure grip equipped 8-1/4 with 3.21 gears on a stock size tire spinning out of the hole.
ESPO 1 inch over bend springs were used.
Had I finished the tuning chore and ran a wider tire for traction, I'm oh so sure there would have been a few 14 sec. slips.
The car got 17/18 MPG's Hwy. A spirited car for what it was.
