So how has the cam effected your gas mileage ? What kind of vacuum in gear ? My build is going toward driveabilty, mileage, vacuum. Not looking for rump rump/ wish I went smaller cam (been there done that).
In gear it's probably 13" or so. It doesn't rump; it idles smoothly. Gas mileage so far kind of stinks, but I drove it on a 150 mile roundtrip with 450 miles on the engine, and it got 17.5 MPG. I have an Edelbrock 1406 on it, and it was about a step or two lean at that point. In mixed driving, I'm in the 12-13 range. It didn't do all that much better with the stock cam and two barrel it used to have, but the engine was pretty much worn out at that point.
