Looking to trade to a different look for my shifter. This ball is new unused and has 3/8-24 thread pitch. So if you have anything different than this style in the mentioned thread I will consider. My car has a day 2 vibe I am trying to keep so modern styles probably won't interest me. I remember a few different from back in the day, maybe someone could dig something out not being used. I also have a new white ball I would have used but it has the coarse thread. Won't fit so it is also up for trade.

I have and like this one, also has the correct threads. Just wish it wasn't so worn.

I bought that same stupid 4-speed ball with the same wrong threads. Anybody got a solution for that?

I drilled out my T handle, and tapped it for a brass pipe thread bushing (left over from oil press guage install), then drilled the bushing and re-tapped the right thread.. might work on that ball..

hope it helps

Haven't checked into my thread here lately. Didn't think it was still being read.
As for those aluminum t handles, thanks for the reply but I can't use them here in the -0°
area I live in. Last one I had would get covered in frost. I wish to stay with the the plastic.

I'm working on building up my nerve to trying this. Think I'll do a practice on a old one first.
Sounds like something I could screw up.
Thanks for the tip, I'm gonna give it a try.
