The engine is a little 253 cube Holden V8....all made here.....they were also made in 308 cubes too......Blocks (cast iron) are different, but run same crank & rods, same heads (cast iron ).....253 had 2bbl intake (alloy), and the 308 ran a 4bbl intake ( also alloy).
It is possible to squeeze 400 hp out of the 253, N/A.
