Need prayers for my Hero

I am sorry to hear about your dad. He your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I lost my father 6 years ago from colon cancer and my mother 4 years ago from breast cancer. They both were diagnosed a year apart and survived 20 years after being given months to live. When they finally passed each were in their mid to late 80's and had good, long lives even under normal conditions.

I couldn't agree more about once it is in your history you better start getting checked.

I have first one done at 43 (3 years later then I should have) and another a few months ago. The last time they found cancer producing type of polyps. So now I have to get another in a year. Honestly when I first got it done I was real weary from all the stories about it. In reality it was no big deal as I changed my diet a bit a week before in prep for it! The liquid doesn't even taste that bad - it is drinkable.
