According to Delivery Literature

Ted Spehar and Ralph Costa of Birmingham, Detroit were 'the first' to get a 1966 Dodge 'D/Dart'. Ralph was a
successful Drag Racer with a 1965 Barracuda 273/235 HP 'The Politician' classed in 'F/SA' in 1965.

In 1966, Ralph was a 'partner' with the famous 'Mad Scientist' - Ted Spehar, owner of the 'Skunkworks Shop' an
old Texaco Gas Station on Maple Avenue just off Woodward Avenue in Birmingham.

Ted's Shop was a Haven for Mopar Factory Techs and Gearheads.
