1966 Dodge D/Dart ~ 'Mystery, Myth and Misconception'

Thanks for the updates. I'll have to see if I can pair the list you have with the cars that I know still exist.

Per our conversation last year on the San Leandro Dart
This San Leandro Dodge 'Dart' is from San Leandro, California (northern California).

This car ran at the AHRA Track - Freemont Dragstrip.

The Class HSO-1 is for H/Stock Optional-1

'Multiple Carburetors' - 'Solid Camshaft' - '266 to 280 Cubic Inches'

This D/Dart was running with the 'optional' Edelbrock #D-66 Aluminum Dual-Plane / Dual-Carb Intake
with twin Carter AFB #3853 (500 CFM) Carburetors, with smaller Secondary Jets. (.065")

Also --- Were would the Ferris Miles - Westlake Dodge have come from? That's the one that ran in Trans Am races. I have photos of that VIN and fender tag. I believe it may have been a California car.

Alan,

I checked the 'Special Performance Group' list, and the San Leandro
Dodge Dealership was 'not' on the list.

Also, that Dart has the Antenna. That Dart GT was a 273/235 HP
car, with added components.

Also to be added,
* Parsons Dodge......................Washington D.C.
* Funk and Hawley Dodge....... Batavia, New York

Westlake Dodge
7073 Mission
Daly City, California

That D/Dart car driven by Ferris Miles, competed in the Trans Am Series in Northern California.
