I have a 225 Mopar SLant 6 motor I am rebuilding on an engine stand in my garage. i am ready to roatte it upright since I am done with putting the oil pan gasket on. My next move is to put the exhaust and intake manifolds back on after they were painted/treated. What is the best approach to get these back on correctly? This motor has been easy to work with so far.

there is an article over on slant6.org by (I think) Doug Dutra about manifolds and installation problems and fixed. I'd get one of the remflex gaskets anyway just to help the build along. it's been great using in on the other /6's I've rebuilt.

can't find my link to it since I'm not on my usual computer dangit$#%

Thanks. I've heard of those Gaskets and was wondering if they were any good. Think I will do the same for the exhaust manifold at the end where it goes into the exhaust pipe. Know these manifolds are known for warps and cracks.

Thanks. I found the article on slantsix.org. They have a bunch of stuff there as well to look at.
