:prayer: One set of four late 1960's / early 1970's REAL American Racing T70 14x7 5 spoke Torque Thrust wheels. NOT magnesium, they are aluminum with gray centers, polished wheel lips, comes with 20 each 7/16" right hand thread lugnuts and four caps. I've heard from Mopar guys that have said that these wheels were NEVER made....yeah, well here they are !! Very nice condition, removed from my 1966 Dart GT that I sold this weekend. No need to keep these gems any longer, have owned them for close to 26 years. In 35 + years of Mopar-ing, I have never seen a set of these...anywhere ! Mounted with tires, the wheels are straight & true. ** $1500.00 with or without tires ** Located just outside the Seattle area. Unable to post pics (SORRY !!) but PM me and I will get some to you via my phone with your contact information. Thank you & Happy New Year !! Mopar or No Car !!

are they one piece aluminum?or two piece steel and aluminum?

Didn't see you at the Seattle show last summer. Are they still painted white?

I would love to see pics of these wheels , caps and lug nuts

Hi ! I'm ALWAYS at the Seattle show every year, usually in the swapmeet area. I was working out of my gold/black '85 Dodge 440 crewcab dually trying to make a buck or two. The wheels are no longer white (that's how I got them YEARS ago), I stripped them bare, cleaned and polished the outer wheel lips and ran them on my '66 Dart GT all this past summer. Sold my Dart over this past Christmas and have no need for them now. Happy to send you pics....send me your contact information via PM and I will reply with them. Thanks for any interest.

Here are the photos Ray sent.

I was asked if the wheels were one piece or two piece. They are casted ONE PIECE wheels with the "American Racing" script casted on the backside also. There is no welding of any kind attaching the center hub to the outer wheel. I was also asked if I was sure that they were indeed :goodman:small bolt pattern Mopar. REALLY ?? The picture above show what the SBP Torque Thrust wheels looked like on my drum brake, 1966 Dart GT........there is your answer, thanks !!

I have sets of each, the steel/alum sm.bolt are 14x6 w/3" BS

Your centers are different than mine, both look wrong, nice wheels, wish the bs was a little more... What size tires were you running on them? No rubbing issues?

The reason I asked as I have a pair of 14x6 that I have been running on my 69 Cuda for years and since I am switching out to a BBP disc brakes I will be parting ways with them.I redid them with a dark gunmetal metallic and polished the lip and added my own style center cap.

:coffee2:Glad to see there are other SBP Torque Thrust wheels among the "community" !! Still, I would like to see these wheels I have go to a good home.....I really don't want to store these again for the next 25 years (IF, I live that much longer !), hidden away. Both my '68 Valiant post big block and my '67 Dart GT 340 convertible have been converted to big bolt pattern disc brakes now and I don't see myself getting into ANOTHER project, I'm getting too old for anymore Mopars, LOL !! Thanks all to those who inquired. Mopar or No Car !!

Tempted however I have set of SBP 15X8 slots and a set of SBP 15X6 TT style wheels. 14" tires are really getting hard to come by. I may sell the slotted mags to fund some SBP steel wheels for my 68 GTS. you shouldn't have a problem selling those wheels.

Here is my 383-S with small bolt pattern torque thrust wheels. Not sure if they are American Racing or Fenton. I do know that they look awesome on my car!

When I got these wheels 25 + something years ago, they were indeed missing the centercaps. Since at the time I did NOT have a SBP Mopar to put them on ( MY problem is that through the years of Mopar-ing, I've collected ALOT of cool Mopar parts for cars I don't even own....it's a sickness folks....LOL !! ), I just stored these A/R SBP Torque Thrusts away for future use. A few years after I got the wheels, I contacted the good folks at American Racing and told them what I had and if there were any caps that I could purchase from them. After I left them with my contact information, a few weeks later a package arrived at my doorstep from American Racing. Inside were five BRAND NEW caps, screws and backings for my SBP Torque Thrusts with a note that these were the factory replacements and FREE of charge for being a American Racing customer. What nice people ! So, since I had never seen another set ANYWHERE to compare them to, I figured that the good people at American Racing knew what they were talking about. Anyways PH23VO, MAYBE the caps you have are the ones that were originally on my wheels, since your in the Seattle area, just sayin'. But thanks for posting the pics of your caps, I hope you can find the correct wheels to complete the package. Mopar or No Car..... EVERYBODY !!:goodman:

Hello Rod ! Just wanted to drop you a message that your Barracuda does INDEED look awesome......... with or without those wheels !! What a cool ride !! Ray:prayer:

Hi Dart4forte ! Hey I know what you mean about trying to find 14" tires anymore...........Discount Tire or Les Schwab still have listings in 14" performance tires, but man, they are expensive ! Both my '67 Dart convertible and my '68 Valiant have been converted to LBP disc so I run 15" wheels now on both of them. I'll be at the Mopar Show in Everett on June 1 selling in the swapmeet area............stop and say " Hi ! ", I'll have a cold pop waiting for you !! I'll have my 1955 Plymouth Belvedere with me. Mopar Or No Car !! Ray

Hi Everybody ! THANKS to all of you that inquired about the set of SBP 14" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels I had for sale, the set were sold this evening, California bound. I know the individual who bought these will be very happy to own these super rare wheels !! Thanks again everybody........ Mopar Or No Car !! * :happy6: Ray
