rodent proofing a garage

My mice are field mice as we are quite rural so I suspect they are mainly accustomed to silence. The radio has helped like night and day, although, they will likely get used to it eventually. Then I am going for some highly rated ultrasonic units and a few pounds of moth balls.

Another option if you can tolerate the moth ball smell is: Paradichlorobenzene is the ingredient in most urinal cakes and moth balls. So urinal cakes (made from Para) are just cherry scented large mothballs.

The fresh cab stuff smells quite nice (and pungent) but I have seen mixed reviews of it's effectiveness on amazon.

Yeah, guess I didn't think it through. But, I do put moth balls down and believe it or not, the electronic rodent keeper awayers from menards. Knock wood, never had a mouse!
