Just when I give the benefit of the doubt

Since she wasn't using the pumps---obviously no one else needed to use them either

I let a lady go ahead of me in line. I had two items, she had one.

Then, after she cashed in three lottery tickets, she asked for seven different types of lottery tickets (one at a time), a pack of smokes, let the cashier ring up the total, and then added another pack of a different brand, which took the cashier almost a minute to find.

How come 99.99% of lottery ticket buyers can only process one request at a time, and have to wait for the cashier to return to the register before asking for another ticket???
