Haven't heard that one in a while. I was 23 in 1976 and I remember it! Thanks for bringing it up!

I was 22 in 76 and had a 69 383 Roadrunner which was stolen and recovered and stolen again never to be found!

Al Stewart has put out many great albums in the last 20 years also. Do yourself a favor and check out the album Between the Wars, among many others.

Great song, used to hear it when I was riding with my Dad on his paper route in a VW Van.

Great song, you think it would be socially acceptable to wear bell bottoms 7 days a week?

My daughter is 31, when she was little I still had a pair of my bell bottoms, not the standard ones, these where HUGE bell bottoms. I put them on one day and she said, "dad what are you wearing?" Yeah they did look stupid, but we were cool back in the day.

Got to love the 70's

My gosh it's been a long time since I've heard that. And people wonder why we hate "rap"

I liked the song the first 12,000 times I heard it.
Why oh why couldn't the radio (all we had in the car) play something else.
My albums were at home.
I thought this was a better song.
(But earlier, I think)
Sort of like wearing out "Money" when "Time" was a better song (IMO)
