68 valiant strut rods re-do

I have a 68 valiant with a slant 6. The previous owner allowed the power steering fluid leak to eventually eat up the bushing in the strut rod on the driver side of the car. When the car is driven, you can hear a click when the brake is applied and then when you take off, it clicks again. Which is most likely the strut rod playing back and forth.
Are these hard to replace without taking the whole front suspension loose on the car?

Is there a process documented somewhere for the procedure?
