What do you think?

I think your combo will run great with everything, but I would really think the headers would make a very big addition. I hear you on the headaches and am older also. I have a BB duster with B Body hedders and didn't want the hassle either. I used studs a good gasket and initial good break in procedures and have had very good results with very cheap headers. I ran either way and they make a pretty significant difference. So if you are looking for maintenance free the solid cam doesn't make sense. I have run a ton of these sort of combos, I really like the torker intake. It is smaller volume and high velocity. Its a great intake. With stock manifolds the RPM sweep suffers after 3500 or so.The numbers on the dyno doesn't do the difference between hedders and manifolds justice. There are a lot drivability differences.
