I had an interesting morning

so a buddy of mine bought an estate from an old engine shop, in order to aquire some hemi stuff. he got so much engine and misc. parts it is rediculous. he asked me if i was interested in buying everything mopar besides hemi stuff. so i had to go have a look.
There is a 65 Valiant 200 orig v8 4 sp33d car.new 360 w/ j heads, has disks up front 8 3/4 h/d rear springs. it is an auto car now but still has hump. car has been modified for racing, and has some pretty bad work done, but overall is a very clean car. not very much body work needed but someone put a power master cylinder under the floor, and it is ugly. he is asking 1500 for the car. see pix.(oops forgot to take pix of the car after i seen the bad work done.
There is also a couple of complete 360's, a complete 273, about 12 or 15 sets of heads(most j's, some o, u and 302) about 20 or 30 crates full of odds and ends. and i cant even recalect what all is there, 8 3/4 pigs k/h disk stuff oil pans loads of gasket sets, trans parts, lots of kickdown stuff. its crazy. I made an offer on all of the parts with out the car, and we came to an agreement. so I will be selling loads of stuff pretty cheap.
He also had a few early hemi's that were just cool to look at, none of this is for sale. Then i turn the corner and bamn! a 32 ESSEX and not just any old essex. This was EMILIA EARHEART's 32 ESSEX. totally documented, with pix of EMILIA with the car when new. All original and just signed a contract to take it to her family's celabration for her acomplishments and her birthday.
And in his office was so much original racing memorabilia from the hey day. He said he started racing in 63, and was very competitive thru the mid 90's. What an overwhelming morning.
