Don't Laugh at Military Graves

This was actually posted on here some time ago. I didn't "look it up" but I believe there are signs requesting people to not only not talk, but to stand (if they are able) at attention as if saluting the flag. during the ceremony. Your are not to lollygag, not to lean sloppily on the railing, and so on.

This changing of the guard is an official military act. It is not a show and it is not light entertainment.

This area is essentially a military installation. I can guarantee you and I mean I can FLAT guarantee you that whatever you "think" your rights are, that if you, for some reason, are challenged "by the guard" at any military installation, you WILL toe the line. If you do not do as requested, you will be detained, you will probably be put into civilian police detainment, and at the very least WILL be escorted by whatever means right off the installation.

And for those of you who think you're young and tough, and think this would be a great time and place to exercise the limits of "your freedoms" in the best traditions of, say, Beevus and Butthead, my advice would be , "don't."
