A-Body made a spot on a Super Bowl ad!

Staying out of the politics in this one. I dig the ad and I dig Bob Dylan...though this is not what I ever would have expected from the guy. Oh well. :)

I'm proud of a great deal of what our country has done and building the best cars in the world is one of those things. Yes, there was a prolonged rough patch (probably from the mid 70s-90s) but those days are gone.

Some of you guys complain about Fiat...and yes, I'd prefer it if the owners of our favorite auto maker were here in the states but the world is a much smaller place than it used to be...and I'm much happier to accept ownership by Fiat (where they make a sincere effort to build GOOD cars) than by Cerberus Capital (who was there merely to pillage) or a hostile takeover by Daimler (who was there for God knows what reason).

By all accounts, Marchionne is a real car guy and I think we could do much worse for a CEO.

Seeing the '74+ Dart in the ad was a nice little moment. It's cool that they recognize how important our modest little Abody cars were. They just as easily could have stuck a '69 Charger in there.
