Black and white interiors

For our 1968 Charger project my son chose to go with a white interior. Originally he wanted everything white. But after researching wear and dirt in other vehicles with all white in interiors, we decided to limit the amount of white. Black carpeting was the first decision. The second was to put black inserts in the seats and use black on the upper door panels. It seemed like the upper door panels were one of the first places to show dirt/discoloration from a person's arms and the seat bottoms were the next likely place to show dirt. I've seen a lot of really nice restored all white interiors and think they're gorgeous. But on the older non-restored cars those seemed to be the problem areas. Our aftermarket seats are from Ultrarev and the steering wheel is a Grant. We had a local upholstery shop match our rear seat to the front and then had them embroider the R/T emblems in the front seats.
