your Mopar's story

As we get older we have more and more...lol.
First one was when I was 15 1/2 - I was into building plastic models and I had ridden my bike to the local KB Toy and bought a few car models. One was a '71 Cuda. When I saw it it was the meanest looking car I'd ever seen. When I was 16 I "got a real job" at Stop & Shop. 2 weeks in I saw a '71 Barracuda in the parking lot. I called it a Cuda, so did the teenage owner. A week later I owned it. There's another '71 Cuda I chased off a torn scrap of paper for a few months accross two states and ended up buying.
In terms of A bodies- I was in my later teens working a local parts store and an account called me. Thye had been paid to tow a car from a sold house and thought I might want it (I had the "Mopar guy" rep at that point). I went and looked, and drove the car home for "the tow bill and pizza money" ($200). It's the only one of my "teen cars" that I still own - my '72 Demon.
