I just found out that Bud Fauble died. Another mopar drag racer gone !
 
Another grate racer gone R.I.P Bud, I see he also served as a USAF fighter pilot.
 
Sounds like auto racing was a minor part

He not only was a Navy fighter pilot in Korea, but flew for the Air Force in 'Nam. Later TAUGHT others to fly as well as flying acrobatics

Look up his name, & see what all he accomplished as a drag racer. The guy was good at no matter what he did
 
Rip Bud another good one gone. So sad but he sure lived life to the fullest.
 
Met him at the York reunion in '08, he signed my "maximum performance" book and was as down to earth as could be. I love the old fashioned get-ups he and his wife used to wear to the shows! just a great American! RIP Bud
