How can we tell if it's a Formula S , the fender tag and build sheet tell us but without it how can we tell, anyway for sure to tell.
Please help with info.
 
It has a dual valance certainly looks factory i'll get some pics up later
Also the car has Headrests that came on Formula "S"
Doesn't the "P" in the vin tell it's a 340 car? but not nessasarily a formula S?
If so isn't a 340 car rarer than an formula s car?

Vin number will show it came with a 340. Only a Formula S (on the Plymouth side) came with a 340. You could not get a non-Formula S with a 340 in 68.

When we had the big thread about the washer welded to the K-frame on 340 cars, I don't think anyone with a 68 340 had the washer. I suspect that started mid 69ish or later.
