Arizona Introduces Bill to Exempt Vehicles 40-Years Old and Older From Emissions Insp

-
Anything 30 years and older here in NC needs no inspection, period. Emission or otherwise. In fact most counties don't do emmission tests on anything and those that do are only on cars newer than 1996 I think.

Set up a MT. LLC based out of Kalispell....no emissions, permanent tags on anything over 10 years old (and all bikes).....

Boy, 805, 'bout time AZ got on this bandwagon. A few more states need to follow

they passed, finally, no emissions on all bikes last year  thats a no brainer

no kidding, trying to get the 68 to pass is a nightmare

About damn time,Ed... (both marriage, and AZ emissions laws...). Gotta stir the stick,man.....

Arnie killed the bill for a rolling 25 year, here. I don't see Brownnose bringing it back. I could use a break on my old beater GMC. It always runs worse when I dial it in to pass smog....

Rev,same here... The only hot rod,is the 72 Scamp now. Too many times,I tweaked post 75 stuff.

Yeah our state sucks...any 76 up car. And your screwed...

Geez,as a Bar 92 smog rep,I had to do everything, to make a .484 Purple Shaft, with Rhode's lifters ,to hit the 100 p.p.m ,1.0 CO. The damned Thermoquad, was way too damn lean....Low compression tuning,a p.I.t.a
....

I solved one of my issues by taking a car to AZ, registering it with collector car insurance, no smog... Problem solved for now!

340, .508 cam, no cat/smog, etc...

KA's LEOs are actually on the look-out for out of state plates that have been around for a while. A friend of my mom's got popped for the Ill. plates on the vehicle that she was driving, her dad's. He drove it out and left it here for her to use. Too bad she didn't have military ID.

So I don't see that working for those of us in the Occupied State.
