Don't get me wrong, that would be badass, and my buddy Sebastian has a 1JZ and a 2JZ in his garage he would let go fairly cheap. I have to stick with a Mopar power plant, its what I know and love. I drive my truck everyday and I never get sick of the old 318 in it. I bet its not even making 300hp, but its something I have built with my own hands and I get to relish in it every day. And for a 318, it can sure make that 3300# box fly atleast to me. I have kicked around the idea of getting into an import a few times (sister drifts SR20 240sx), it never really sticks much. I always find myself looking at old school tech. I've even contemplated just getting a 240sx and throwing a magnum in one due to the high availability of cheap shells, but they are total lamesauce and the scene of people who you'd have to deal with are a pain in the *** 70% of the time.
a 401 would be badass but they are $$$$$$$$.
Most likely a Magnum engine. I can pick one up running ones all day for cheap.
