Carter made a 400 cfm carb many a year back, but very hard to find used now. I ran a cast iron dual quad 383 in the early 1980's with electric chokes on both carbs and it got 2 mpg better mileage then the best single 4 setup that I had tried. Also cold start with the dual quad was almost perfect.
