1965 Dart 2-door post

What a sweet interior, i just purchased a set of A100 seats for my own car.
Love the no back seat look, thanks so much for the peek inside.

OK wedge383, valiant200 et al, it is PAST time to renew this thread!!! Since the last post I have purchased (and been driving) a 63 Dart... I have the HP manifolds, engine and pretty much everything I need to put my 383 in one of my early A's... I am leaning towards leaving the small block in the '66 and putting the 383 in the '63 due to the firewall/wiper motor issue. The 63's are PERFECT for a big block in my opinion. Would love to hear from you guys and where you are in your progress with your installs... BTW I searched for about TWO hours to find this thread again LOL. Thanks
Rocky

I agree with you that the 63 cars make better big block candidates than small blocks. I plan on using manifolds myself also.

Thanks Mike, yeah I really hate to see a firewall pounded in with a hammer like I have seen several times over the years for small blocks, although some of the ones I have seen have been done well and look ok. I am surprised we don't see more threads of these cars done with the B motors...

Thanks for bringing up this thread. I forgot about it. Seem hard to get good info on BB in early As. I've found a few things but not enough. If I wasn't such a BB hound I would just stick with a SB.

I hear ya, I've had the 383 sitting on the engine stand for a few years, every time I walk by it just mocks me LOL... It's going in one of mine, probably the 63 Dart and probably soon... There isn't much out there but this will be one of the better threads on it if we just keep it going...
