Wow. Didn't know diesels were available then.

grab the K-frame and all the diesel stuff. That is way too cool!!! Must be pretty rare

I bet they junked it because everytime they shut it off, it dieseled :toothy10:

We JUST had a thread about diesels the other day!!!

I wonder if those were built for Europe, being right hand drive and diesel....

Ok guys since my husband can't type, I'm answering for him, So here goes:
He also thought it was a 62 but yard listed as a 63, he didn't see any tags as to where it was built, fender tag is still on fender, it looked factory, and would love to be able to take a day off to get whole car and bring home, But I said no don't want it as a front yard ornament! LOL!

Let him bring it home. Just put a nice cover on it. If that car is a factory equipped diesel it may be worth more in its current condition than what's parked there on a regular basis.

buy it and sell it on a profit on here to someone, then you know, the hubby could give you the profits for you to take a spa day or do some home decorating. I dunno. Use your imagination.

people always say how they have a rare car... HA.. look at this one. R A R E

That would make a great project for someone who'll take a second mortgage on their home to restore this super duper rare automobile only to lose their entire life's savings. Who'll be the first on line, anyone, eh?

Alright, so you all know I the wife have a 66 cuda with a 318, and a 78 Green warlock, so as far as the front yard, his clothes will be there if the valiant comes home.

Perkins was British, and they were British Dogs, literally. But that is a rare bird especially here.

send it down to me in Australia - all the other Yank cars i have are left hand drive - a RHD would be a natural - thanks!!!! lol

Rare does = valuable

Cool old car some history would be interesting

But really a 4 door RHD diesel, would be for a collector with deep pockets that liked odd ball cars.
