The older we get the easier it is to make a wrong move.

Yes, it's too easy to "let our guard down" when we get older and sometimes we think we know enough to take the risk. Both in taking off the guard, and carelessly reaching near it. Those guards can be a pain to deal with, but are necessary for safety. I will be more careful myself, trying to learn from your mistake.


Good luck with your recovery. Hopefully the doc's gave you something to help with the pain. If not try some Aleve and possibly a shot of whiskey until the pain goes away.... The shot of whiskey is optional at your discretion.
