holy grail hemi part arrived today!!!

This 28 started out as half a car pulled from a field. The rest of it I found a piece here and there. Made what was missing no expensive patch panels. Was very rikity and unstable at first.
Kept welding metal in it till it was solid and the doors opened and closed real nice. It did come out a much better body than it looks. But it is primitive. Will wind whistle for sure. Very fun project and cheap as well. No filler or paint supplies needed.
My friend that took it over has been coming over on the weekends till its a roller.
Starting on the frame rails this weekend.
As I am finishing up my engine I have been looking for a body for it. If I can't come up with
one I will build a front engine dragster frame, altered or something track only.
Haha, you are a good friend.

Seems like its a lot harder to find a Mopar of that vintage than a Chevy or Ford.

Looks to be a few early Hemi fans out there. I used to pass on them when I was younger
on the hunt for 426 stuff, not anymore. I like them all.
I'm 23 and would love to get my mitts on an old Hemi and build something crazy looking.

I'm kinda like'n this cars style, but would be done with a mopar. Not sure if it is a gasser, altered or ?
its a gasser for sure, but I do not believe it is altered wheelbase. If you look at the front and rear wheels, they are exactly where they would be located from factory
