I am getting ready to paint my engine bay. The problem I am having is I am thinking of painting the car 2 toned. Which color do I paint the engine bay? The top color, or the bottom color?
Here are examples of the 2 tone style that I am looking at:

Do the engine bay black it gives more simplicity to the bay but at the same time it makes the engine stand out a lot more especially if u have a lot of aluminum or chrome or billet parts

I would follow the top of the fender color into the engine bay.....

There wasn't a choice for this, but I'd say, the darker color (whichever that is) My $0.02

It isnt a Chevy. You only paint a Mopar bay black if the car is black. OY. Top color.

If you want to stay somewhat true to OEM, primary body color, engine bay, trunk, everywhere.
A two tone paint scheme is a secondary treatment just like stripes, vinyl top, black hood, etc...

I'm glad i'm not the only one. Don't use spatter paint in the trunk either... I see cars at shows done like chevys and keep walking.

Machine Tool Gray (Krylon's "Universal Gray") or something close that doesn't clash with either body color. Makes you clean it more often, but also makes working in the engine bay a lot easier since you can see what you're looking at, unlike when it is black.

This is what I did - wrapped the top color into the fenders and on top of the cowl. Body color in the engine compartment :)
