360/380hp crate motor

-
I've had a couple and heard stories about them. Both of mine one a LA the other a Magnum were both great little engines.

Ive heard stories about the LA short blocks having issues but very few about the Magnum crate motors

I called Mancini Racing today about the valve springs. They gotum BUT they are back ordered, just my luck. Good thing is we aren't ready for them till about mid summer or a bit later. Price was $169, a hell of a lot cheaper than what Dodge {$480}wanted. Can't wait to get this engine in my Scamp and have fun fun fun fun. :)

Jim

Do yourself a favor and dont try and order anything from Mopar thats on back order because you will never get it. Any cam company can get you a set of springs that will work.

...still hammering on mine. Not a single problem!

My friend and I bought one at the same time in '98. Mine got wrecked but ran great! Turned a '65 Barracuda 4 speed into a high 12 second street car. My friend is still racing his in a 70 dart.

Pentastarnut, have a nice lil 750 Holley sitting just waiting to go on top of it. :)

I have read that the 292 duration 501/513 cam in them produces a rough idle and low vacuum at idle and willl hardly run power brakes, they also dynoed at 400 hp
