Well due to bad shoulders, back and neck and business ventures, I am selling my B'Cuda. Vin # BH29P8B169038. Factory 340, 4 Spd. Fastback. Power disc brake, manual steering car. We just recently moved and i put the fender tag someplace safe and now I can't find it... It's here somewhere. Anyway, here's why the motor and trans are out of it. After 8 passes at the Fontana Ca. 1/4 mile track and about 700 miles (at most) of street driving, the clutch started making noise when disengaged. Jamie at Passon Performance nailed the problem. I had purchased and installed a Ram billet flywheel, Centerforce Dual Friction setup and Arp Pro Series flywheel and pressure plate bolts. Problem was the billet flywheel was thicker than stock and the Arp flywheel bolt heads are taller than stock and after a little while the disc springs started hitting. There's no damage and just needs stock height flywheel bolts to remedy.

Now while the motor was out and after talking with Brian and Fred at IMM (we live close by) They thought the motor was down on power by the 1/4 mile #'s I had. Best of 12:99 ET and Best of 108.66 MPH. My best 60' was 2.03 so I wasn't getting out of the hole well either. So I decided to have Brian dynotune it while out of the car. He suggested a light tear down to make sure everything was okay, It wasn't and went deeper and come to find out the previous engine builder didn't install the rings correctly, damaging the pistons and hurting 2 cylinders. Also the cam was going flat (which very well could have been my fault). So, Brian sonic tested the 72 340 block and pronounced with 2 sleeves the block would be fine. It already had 1 sleeve from previous builder.

This 340 motor was run at Ontario motor speedway back in the 80's in a oval track challenger. It has 11:01 Trw forged pistons, STD. forged factory crank, Hughes 245/250 @050. 560/575 lift solid cam, Bob Mullens modified T/A heads. Edelbrock Street tunnelram with 2 600 holleys, just gone through by Bob at Competition Carbs in Sun Valley, Nv. Flowtech 1-5/8"s coated headers that are modified for old school dougs electric cutouts. Car sounded awesome opened up. MSD Digital 6 with adjustable timing control, Baster coil. Chambered mufflers. 4 spd, with steel shifting forks, 4:56 geared 4:89 case, with Powertrax lockright diff. Line Lock. Converted brakes to manual disc but have orig power booster. Low mile Hoosier Quick Time 275/55-14 rear tires and 195/75-14 all season tires also low mile.

Car needs interior ( I have a new green headliner for it), Has I guess, later a body seats that are rough. Has blk carpet on floor that was fine for driving around. Dash is cracked up pretty bad (desert sun). Has been in the Desert since 1988 at least. I believe it's been here it's whole life. Body has some waves and dings. I ran a magnet around it and couldn't get it to not stick, but can't guarantee no filler. Only rust i have ever seen on the car was light surface rust. One grill has small chunk missing bumpers are not perfect but driver quality, as are the tail lights.

Comes with a lot of extra parts that I don't want to mention as I want everything to go with the car. If and when I get back in the hobby, it will probably be a done car.

Over the past year I've grown to have an appreciation for the 2nd Gen Barracuda fastback and have noticed that they don't last long when placed for sale. I'm saving some coin to pick one up someday!
