vin question

..........OH!!!........... For some reason I had the idea someone had REPLACED the VIN IE illegally. You have a title that matches that VIN?

That should be a legit VIN, maybe the car was seriously wrecked and CA issued a new VIN. That sucks, though, for collectors, as it sure ain't original.

Maybe CA? would have records of the original VIN, ???
