so i have been looking for some time for a old A body mopar. my search ended and found a 1965 dodge dart gt. i figured now it is time to say hi to the members of the forum. here are 2 pictures i took while looking at the car. i will have it back to my place this weekend. i plan to take a ton more pictures once it is here. i am super excited for the project. as i am young but a huge mopar freak. i am sure to ask many questions as i work on the car and plan to be stuck on the A bodies site to learn as much as i can.

My grandparents had a 65 wagon, \6 and 3 on the tree, had that car for 12 years. Welcome to FABO!

thanks. i got my car saturday and could not be happier about it. i have already been busy looking it over to find out what may or may have not been done to it. i found it has a 8.75 a body rear with a 489 center section. not sure gear ratio? the engine is the 273 block with 318 heads. it has a ton of oil all over it but i was able to get it to start. plan is to steam the engine clean and see where all the oil is coming from. first step of business is to remove the 5x4 and go to the big 5x4.5 pattern along with disc front brakes. i really want to start driving the car and enjoying it. so i can put money aside for the future plans of the car. here are some more pictures. enjoy.

I am rather new myself, and although i can see you are just getting started..in some ways your car will be even more cool because of where you started from. Enjoy the project my brother!

lol i think all old mopars are cool. i am just super happy to finally get my hands on a good car to start with.

well thanks again everyone. so far i am really liking this forum. i am on other forums for other cars and it seems as if people do not know much but only want to sell things that the aftermarket has.

Well hello there fellow Utahn! We're one of the very few in this state lol. I live in Clearfield about 5 min. from Hill AFB.

Look around for a yellow and black 74 duster which will be running very soon.

There is another yellow duster around here as well but it is a 71 or 72 with some cancer on it.

I did see a blue 73-76 duster at Tom's (NAPA) auto parts parking lot the other day.
