Biggest 15" front tire for my barracuda

Anytime you get into the 26" range on a 67-68 Barracuda, wheel selection and suspension condition become critical.

I don't know why but all of the other cars (Darts, Dusters and so on) have less of an issue with this.

I can tell you for a fact that I don't have the room for 215-70-15 on my car (if that tire were mounted on a stock offset wheel).

A bunch of the guys on here, including myself, have ran a 215-60-15 (about .5" shorter than stock) with great success.

If you just look at the numbers, a 225-60-15 (25.6") or 215-65-15 (25.9") should work too, but don't get fooled here. They will work sometimes, depending on the car.

And that's the problem.... You can have 2 cars, same make and model year, using the same, factory offset wheel, one will hit while turning, and one won't.

So it really comes down to.... What tire will your wheel and car allow you to run. Safe bet, 215-60-15.
