Post your stock stroke SB combos

our current "backup plan" which has always served us well. 950 cfm barry grant 4150 carb, Ebrock Victor 340 intake, 273 rocker arms, iron MP heads with small stem chebby valves (1.96I, 1.6E) .547I/.554E [email protected] on the bump stick, stock 360 block, stock rods, KB pistons, stock stroke 360 crank.....forged this time around. We ran the cast crank for a long time, but a crack developed. best pass has been a 10.91. That was at an altitude track with a 904 trans and 9" Dynamic converter and 4.56 gear. Latest pass with the 727, 8" converter and 4.3 gear which worked great with our 9 sec W5 mill...... and not so good with this engine, has been a 10.98 in Vegas.

That is a good working combo! Wish my stroker had ran that good!

First one: 318, don't know the year of the block, crank out of a D600 truck, rods out of another 318 when they still used bushed rods, Sealed Power cast rebuilder pistons, rota-tor not balanced, angle milled 360 heads, 2.02I, 1.6E valves, Comp XTQ281S-6 cam, E-Brock Torquer II intake, 750 Holley DP, Coan 4800 stall converter, 4.88's on a spool, 275/60x15 M/T drag radials, car weighed 3030 with me in it, ran a best of 12.54 at 108 mph. The car is a 65 Barracuda.

Second one: 360, .030 over KB 107's, SIR rods, balanced internally, MP .557 cam, M1 single plane intake, Hughes ported Edelbrock heads, 1.6 rockers, PTC 5000 stall converter, Caltrac's and Mono leafs, CRT built 904 with low first gear, 4.56's on a spool, Hooser 28x9 slicks, car weight 2950 with me in it. Went 11.10 at 120 mph, still the Barracuda.

Nice combo's! I like that 318, proves they do have potential
