Wiring harness replacement

Ok. We are still testing wires here. The pink wire for the ts wiring is weaker then the rest. Now what?

Pink wire is weak with a text light
white wire has good power when brakes are applied.
the red wire had power with key on but now it doesnt.

You're going to need a volt meter. A test light isn't always enough.
LOL a weak pink girlie wires

Well we arent test light guys so I guess it time to grab the wallet and pay someone. Any other ideas out there?

We have power at all 3 places on the connector but none at the flasher plug.

Recheck, that you do / do not have power at the flasher with key "in run" and either left or right signal selected.

Then center signal lever and see if power comes back

No power at flasher? First thing I'd backtrack to is a bad fuse or poor connections in the fuse panel / fuse clips etc.

The power to the flasher follows quite a route. From the flasher, the black wire to the flasher (D1-18 BK) goes and junctions at terminal "B" of the interior bulkhead connector. This feeds out and feeds the backup light switch, and meanwhile, the interior side now changes to WHITE (B1-18W) I would check there for power.

Now the no 18 WHITE runs up and junctions with the RED wire at the radio connector, (X12-14R) Check there for power and a bad connection.

Now that no14 RED runs from the radio off to the HEATER blower connector where it again changes to BLACK (C1-14BK) and finally goes off to the fuse panel.

Mike got home tonight pulled the fuses cleaned them and the fuse holder andeverything is working he says. Wow all that bullshit for dirty fuses. Well good news is its going again and thanks for all the help. Nice pics 273dart they look easy even to me, sorry we fried your circuit sunday, but thanks for everything.

Well I bet you learned something LOL. Probably the best thing the auto industry ever did was getting rid of cartridge fuses. They are fine in benchtop electronics, which usually have panel mount fuse holders, and many times, indicator lamps to show blown fuses. But the exposed clip holders have been a problem since forever.

Funny how the simple and stooped chit gets overlooked. NOT ! It happens to often too. Can't see the forest for all the trees. But anyway... Glad you found it.

Yes, like tek said. Thanks a million to all of you. A bbbiiiiiggggg hats off to everyone. Mike.

The only thing not working now is the turn signal indicators in the dash. Anyone have any sugestions here.

That depends on what car and what harness. When the hood mounted indicators first appeared, Dodge decided to leave the bulbs out of those dash indictors. It my understanding that the wiring was still there and service tech needed only to install the bulbs and sockets to satisfy customers.
I will guess that the wiring and chassis ground is there and you only need the 2 bulbs and sockets.

Have you checked the turn signal cam switch?
Nevermind.. Lol

Nice work!
