If the only thing you changed is the trans and convertor -then it's either the flexplate or convertor. Did you use all the correct and same types of bolts for the flex to crank and flex to convertor connections? Did you buy the flexplate new or used? Did you verify the number for it is correct for the external LA 360? They also have external 340, external Magnum 360, and external 440 too.
