360 Magnum Rear Main

My rear main seal came with 2 halves and the 2 straight rubber pieces (far right of first pic). Are these not needed for my cap as it looks different to earlier LA caps.

Aussies are obsessed about not wearing proper safety equipment, you should see them race.
 
Magnums, usually use a one piece,rear main seal. Love the flip -flops,I live in Cali.....(Mate,not ,seeing the required relief ,for a single rear main seal.) Give us,some block numbers,mate. I'm guessing,yo have a late 80's/early 90's roller LA block.
 
Flip Flops? We call em Thongs and I do everything in thongs. Very rarely wear shoes cause it's too bloody hot here in Queensland. You blokes sound like my wife "why don't you put some shoes on".

I've never seen a one piece rear main Magnum or LA. Got any pics? J.Rob
 
I tapped in a one piece,seal. It was a gimme free Magnum 5.9 ,from a well connected buddy. It has a one piece rear main seal. I'm a parts guy,never seen a two part seal on a Magnum.
