Up for sale is my 1965 Plymouth Valiant V200 sedan. Strong 273 2 bbl, 904 auto, 7 1/4 rear Sure Grip with 2.94's, heavy suspension with 10" drums, manual brakes, manual steering.
I've been daily driving it for the past 4 years, have driven it to Penticton BC (1000 km round trip) numerous times with no hiccups, and it gets 22 - 25 MPG.

Located just outside Parksville BC in Errington.

$1500

Factory undercoating has kept the under side fairly rust free.

New within a year..

Timing chain, fuel pump, 180 degree thermostat, thermostat housing, rad hoses, bypass hose, heater hoses, distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, 2 bbl carb rebuilt, valve adjustment.

Since owning it I've also..

Rebuilt and re cored the rad, replaced grille, headlight bezels, front bumper, tail lights and bezels, antenna, wiper gaskets, changed from 13" rims to 14" rims with good tires, changed from single brake master cylinder to dual, added electronic ignition eliminating the points, added true dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers, done an alignment, added a JVC CD player with line in and aux under dash, ran wiring to the trunk for a sub, added 6x9's in the package tray, sealed the front window, replaced the sending unit in the gas tank, replaced the fuel gauge and ground strap, flushed transmission and replaced filter, sealed the gas tank, added battery hold down, replaced horn ring, fixed turn signals, fixed horn, and fixed reverse lights.

The brakes work great, the fuel gauge reads accurately, the heater works great, it starts easily from a cold start, all lights, wipers, and signals work.

The bad.. There is a condensation problem, visible at the top of the dipstick and valve covers. I did a pressure test to 15 lbs on the coolant system and it held 15 lbs for 20 minutes, so I know all gaskets are good, so I think it just needs to be driven more.
Also, the tranny leaks after sitting 2 or more weeks. It leaks from where the cables enter. I assume the gaskets are drying out after a couple weeks of sitting.
The carpet is trashed, but the floor is solid.
The speedo jumps at low speeds but reads accurately past 30 MPH.
It's not rust free, and it has small dents and dings, but it's really solid for its age.
The passenger side quarter was hit and someone did a poor attempt at a repair with bondo.
Both front and rear seats are torn.

Spare parts include 4 nice spare doors, door trim, 2 quarter panels from a wagon, passenger side splash shield, 4 speed hump, banged up headlight bezels, nice blue door panels, arm rests, tail lights and bezels, a turn signal lens, ash tray, C pillar trim reading VALIANT, locking gas cap with key, 2 electric washer pumps, back seat, and window squirters.

It doesn't come with the rear wheels shown, but will come with 2 stock skinny steel rims and tires.

Ask about anything else you'd like to know.

Hey thanks Rocky, I appreciate the bump.

Nope, wasn't planning on going to Carlisle..

I figured a turn key driver with a V8 that gets decent fuel mileage and comes with a bunch of extra parts for $1500 was a good deal.
