I have a set of main bearing caps that don't have a block to mate to.
I would suggest using new bolts because you never know how stretched the old used bolts may be.
They have some surface rust, but will clean up. Here are two sets of pictures of them. The top set is without flash, the bottom set is with. (that is why the color looks different):
