Downtime!
Better With A Big Block
My Scamp, '72, 440, 727, 9", pretty much fully restored/resto modded. Needs, well, nothing really. Show quality paint, redone Legendary interior, a few sets of wheels. It's a great car, very fun to drive.
But, and isn't there always a but?
I found a '72 340 Duster, numbers matching car, black with white stripes. Car is 100% stock, shows a bit over 50k miles. It's a auto/console car, and it looks pretty damn nice. Haven't seen it in person yet, trying to get over there this weekend.
My car is insured for $17,000 replacement value, he's asking $13,000 for the Duster. If you were to make the trade, would you go straight across, or try to make the seller come off with some extra trade bait?
